Terms of service
Last updated
The rules the service runs on: what it gives you, what it expects from you and what it does not answer for. The service is free, so the conversation is short.
Parties and acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Planning Poher (planningpoher.ru), Vladimir Abdullaev.
They are accepted the moment you enter the service, as a guest or with an account. If any of the terms does not suit you, please do not use the service.
How personal data is handled is described separately, in the privacy policy; a link to it sits in the footer of every page.
What the service is
Planning Poher is a free online tool for estimating work as a team with the planning poker method: a room, a deck of cards, a shared table, chat and round history.
It is provided as is and as it stands today. Features may appear, change and disappear without notice.
Accounts and guest access
- A guest enters with a name alone, without signing up. That account is temporary: after 30 days without a visit it is deleted along with the list of rooms, and it cannot be brought back.
- When you sign up, use a working email address: it is the only way to recover access.
- Keeping your password safe is up to you. If you notice someone else in your account, change the password and write to us.
- An account is meant for one person. Do not hand it to others: whatever is done under it counts as done by you.
What you may not do
Breaking any of these may end your access without notice, and the room or the account may be deleted.
- Break the law or other people’s rights.
- Put other people’s personal data, trade secrets or anything that must not reach outsiders into a room: a room is open to everyone you let in or gave the link to.
- Insult, threaten, harass, or send spam and advertising.
- Break the service, work around its limits, guess other people’s passwords, scan it for vulnerabilities or generate load with automation.
- Pass yourself off as another person or as a representative of the service.
Room content
Everything you type in — the room name, the items, the tags, the messages — stays yours. Nobody reads or reviews it in advance: the service has no moderation.
So that the table can work, you allow the operator to store what you type in and show it to the members of your room. The content is used for nothing else.
The room owner decides who gets in and answers for what ends up there.
Availability and durability
The service is free and promises no level of availability. It may be unreachable because of an update, a failure, or circumstances outside the operator’s control.
Rooms, history and accounts may be lost — in a failure, during a cleanup, or if the service shuts down. Recovery from backups is not guaranteed: write down anywhere else whatever matters to you.
The service may be changed, suspended or closed entirely. The operator will try to give notice of a shutdown but does not undertake to.
No warranty and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind: not of uninterrupted operation, not of freedom from errors, not of fitness for your purposes.
The estimates produced at the table are your team’s opinion, not advice and not a promise from the service. The decisions are yours and so are their consequences.
The operator is not liable for lost profit, team downtime, missed deadlines or any indirect damages. Otherwise liability is limited to what the law allows.
Bug reports
The bug report form opens a public issue in the project repository on GitHub. Your text, the page address, your name and your email address go into it, and anyone can read them.
By sending a report you agree to that being published. There is no need to put anything extra into that form.
Ending the agreement
- You can stop using the service at any moment without telling anyone.
- To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to support@planningpoher.ru.
- The operator may end your access if these terms are broken or if the service shuts down.
Changes to these terms
A new version is published on this same page, and the date at the top shows when it took effect. By continuing to use the service after it appears, you accept the new version.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation.
Disputes are settled by correspondence first: write to us and we will sort it out. If that fails, the dispute goes to the court at the operator’s location.
